my daughter is 11 years old, she spends a lot of time with her female best friend. and the other day she told me something that has really worried me. i asked her what her and her friend get up to and she said they had done something really bad that she was upset and felt guilty about- it had happened more than once. i know theyre coming into puberty and they both 'like' the same boy...they decided to play dares, they wanted to know what 'it' would feel like i think.
anyway basically she divulged to me that things went too far and they basically ended up having sex from what i can gather...they were naked, kissing, touching, her friend moved to perform oral sex upon her - which i find incredible that 11 year old knows what that is! and then my daughter returned this...they simulated having sex but from what i can tell there was no penetration of any objects thankfully...but this still seems like sex to me. i told her not to worry..i dont want to freak her out but i AM freaked out! i dont know...is this normal? i dont know whether i should keep them apart...tell her friends' mum? do you think i am overreacting, its like shes no longer a virgin in some ways??
