I've seen some odd movies over the years but this is one of the oddest.
Ron Perlman, using his real face, and Thomas Jane battle against bad mutants and worse dialogue in a last ditch effort to save the world.
Monks, mutants, martial arts and Malkovich combine with OTT production design to create a fast moving, gory, violent and bonkers sf epic.
The only distractions are the dire script and Thomas Jane's ongoing eerie resemblance to Christopher Lambert.:cool:
 
I was looking forwarRAB to it first time I heard about a long long time ago because I saw a teaser that was nothing like the trailers that have been out lately and it looked a totally different style. The new trailers and clips makes it look like an extremely cheap looking movie... rental wait for me.
 
I am assuming this film has its tongue so firmly planted in its cheek as to make Snakes on a Plane seem arthouse. If so, it could be awesome. If not, I rather despair.
 
I have the feeling that it's meant to be taken seriously, although it's based on a game apparently.
Like Hellboy 2 it's better with the sound off but I did rather enjoy it.
 
When i first saw the trailer on TV I thought it was a straight to DVD film as I hadnt heard anything about it being released in the cinema or even seen trailers for it in the cinema. I will properly end up going to watch it just to see how bad it is!
 
Why wait, I saw a DVD of it back in July, thanks to the usual suspects :D

The film wasn't bad but not worth the price of a cinema ticket & popcorn / nachos etc etc
 
I don't download films and I don't know anyone in such a position to get films that way :p Unless you meant it's out legally on some region somewhere in the world already.


Also, I will not be eating popcorn EVER again, had a bag a few weeks ago and one little bit got trapped inbetween two teeth and I couldn't get to it, felt like it was snapping the teeth out of my gums, UGH, it was horrible.
