I've googled everywhere, and I can't find the right answer. My DVD drive (Hitachi) for 360 is broken, and won't play games. (I've fixed it before, but now its worse) I was thinking of buying a new drive, but then I figured out you must flash it to play back-up games. But what I want to know is must I also flash it to play 360 games to? I know how to flash it, but its to much work -.- besides, I lack the correct components anyways. I do not have a SATA cable or port. So if I have to flash the drive, I'll just buy another 360.
Must I flash a new DVD drive for 360?
