Muslims, police scuffle at Rye Playland over park?s head scarf ban; 15 arrests made

the thing is, i don't know how much this article will tell us about who was unreasonable first. it seems like some pretty different situations happening on the same day to me. but yeah, i imagine at least the first situation was touched off by a muslim woman getting overly angry in an argument.

the factor that seems like it could be shared throughout is probably that the police become increasingly agitated as the day went on. which sounRAB to me like it explains why there were 15 arrests that day. by the end of the day, you probably just had to look at a cop wrong with a hijab on lol
 
I really do believe everyone should respect one another and their culture/religious differences and all that..but holy fuck sometimes these people are making way too big of a deal.

No headwear on a ride = you either find another ride, or take your headwear off. Not tough.
You don't sit there and keep complaining, causing a scene, thinking "it's only bc I'm Muslim! wah wah" and then proceed to get uppity with Johnny Fucking Law.
 
Religion is one thing, but Muslims take it to a whole lifestyle and expect laws to be changed for them.
 
i don't think anybody here is in favor of them breaking the roller coaster rules. they shouldn't have argued to get on the roller coaster, obviously.
