Muslims is it true that building a church in Muslim countries against the Islamic law?

Well I am a muslim and I lived in three different muslim countries and there were so many churches in the countries I lived in. So, I am wondering if it is true that according to Islamic law, there shoud be no churches in muslim countries!
Oh by the way, the countries I lived in are Iraq, Syria, and Lebanon.
And my friend is Egyptian, she told me they have so many churches in Egypt

I personally don't believe in burning in hell. I believe in the same God as Jewish people. Allah and Elohim is one just the name is different. You can't say that my G-d is fake.

i seen too many churches in Jordan Syria Lebanon and Egypt can not say for any others. Islam if you never lived the life style you will never know what you are talking about so please come stay at my home in Jordan and walk around and you might like it. I am a citizen of the world and hold no religion I am my Father's daughter and proud of it
 
oooo welll their r different religens living in muslim countries sop i dont think its against muslim law
