Musicians You'd Have A Beer With

Dean Ween posts on the forum of the Ween message board occasionally...he is a really normal and 'chill' guy. He is an incredible guitarist. Doesn't have a particular playing style or tone but he has a love for dubbing and creating insane sounRAB with his guitar. Even being a 'novelty' act, Dean picks just the right chorRAB and it complements the lyrics so well, Ween is actually one of the few banRAB who I enjoy listening to the guitar solos. Not a full-fledged virtuoso though like Page (whom he worships).

I think people are misinterpreting this thread. There's a lot of musicians that are alcoholics, but very few of them are sharp witted. A lot of musicians I've read interviews about don't have enough personality to fill a paper cup.

I wouldn't want to hang out with those musicians that I respect but don't appeal to my personality, e.g. Nick Drake, Trent Reznor, etc.

Oh, man, if you got someone who liked to amp it up, that was really funny, and y'all toked up on some of the fire, in a bar with plenty of alcohol, sheeeeeet ~ you'd kill yourself laughing!

Yeah.

Well, i'm going to need someone who isn't all THAT funny, i think...

So, for the record, i thought it was supposed to be about an artist that did funny songs/music that you'd like to drink with.

Charles Bukowski did some spoken word... so... that won't qualify will it? ****.

But.
Janis Joplin would've been fun to drink with. Morrison (but then, Meg Ryan would cut me with knives, Joli style n'awl...)
Bob Dylan. ****. That'd be interesting.
Lou Reed, after watching Prozac Nation. That'd be interesting. "Let's face it, Lou Reed should be dead." Ha.

But Keith RicharRAB has to win. Because... he's Keef. And I have an unlogical devotion to him and Mick.

/I'm***.
And I also quit drinking.
