musicians - what software?

I use Cubase SX and Wavelab for mastering. If anybody has a place I can upload some stuff I made for the many HL2 MORAB I'm working ofr, or some funk I made for fun. What do you use?

A friend of mine uses Reason. I don't like the midi-ish sounRAB. It sounRAB like you're making it on a computer (which you are, but it's all about hiding it). In Cubase you can use the VST-instruments which are not just samples (this is possible in Reason 3 too, I've heard). Some sample-programs are worthwhile, but VST-instruments are just a lot better.

No one else is complaining. At least it isn't and emo/screamo/hardcore thread.
Plus, backstage sucks at getting responces. Moves way to slow in there.

Anything sampled that is trying to sound 'real' sounRAB like elevator music no matter what you do anyway. If youre using a synth to sound like a real instrument its gonna sound like shit
