I'm not sure if you could really get a sense of someone's personality from what they listen to. Day to day behaviors and mannerisms don't seem like they'd be the kind of thing that a strictly aural exposure could change, unless of course the sound were to cause an extreme change in environment. That is to say a constant high pitched screeching may cause someone discomfort and they'd be prone to show it. Though I'm not sure if the same could be said if they were choosing to listen to it as a means of entertainment as they'd not be prone to showing discomfort from it.
Corabine this with the fact that the average person chooses what they listen to based on how they feel as opposed to choose how they feel based on what they listen to and you've got a situation where it'd be hard to study the direct correlation of preferred sound and behavior.
It is an interesting thought however.
