Recently i attended a short introductory course for classical guitar playing
The teacher asked me to play what I know and he'd evaluate from there.
I played all the Chords and I could remember(I forgot almost half because i was nervous)
When i played the Fchord like this

He said It was wrong and i should correct to this

He said that the one i played (above) sounded like a Sus Chord rather than a Major. I mean How does he know this things? Whats this topic called? Like in F progression there's a Bb by why must I play a C to make it sound like a Major?
Can anyone help me out with this?
