Music on LG EnV2

1. Pick up a microSD card and USB card reader. (Or if your computer has a card reader)

2. Insert the microSD card into the phone's microSD slot. Note: Be careful where and how you do this. The card insertion requires the use of fingernails, the spring mechanism to eject the card.

3. On the phone choose Menu, 9. Settings & Tools, 9. Memory, 3. Card Memory, Options, Format. This will format the card, and it will also place some folders on it for My Music, My Sounds, My Videos, etc.

4. Remove the microSD card from the phone, put it into the USB card reader, and insert it into the computer's USB slot. This should come up like any other USB drive.

5. Copy and past or Drag & Drop the desired Mp3 files to the cards

Also, just make sure you drop your .wav and .mp3 songs themselves directly into the my_music folder, and WITHOUT folders or sub-folders.

So if on your computer you have your music files in a folder labelled by the artist, the EnV2 might not play them if you drop the folder onto your micro SD card. That's what I found when trying to get my music on my phone. Once I took them out of the folders and sub-folders, my EnV2 played them perfectly.

Another quick way without having to go through all the trouble of downloading and dragging/dropping(If you can afford it) is to just go to your My Music area, then go to Shop, and buy songs. It'll let you buy the songs usually for around $1.99, and then you can just download directly onto either your phone or memory card.
