LOVE THIS MOVIE! Its the best I've seen in a while, Alex and Sophie are adorable!
 
I am really loving this movie right now. I just put it on whenever I want to block out the real world and just want to be entertained for an hour and a half. :D

Alex: Lyrics are important, they´re just not as important as melody.
Sophie: I really don´t think you get it.
Alex: You look angry. Click your pen.
Sophie: A melody is like seeing someone for the first time. The physical attraction. Sex.
Alex: I so get that.
Sophie: But then, as you get to know the person, that´s the lyrics. Their story, who they are underneath. It´s the combination of the two that makes it magic.

Yeah, I just got really bored, especially when Drew wasnt on screen.

There were some funny parts but it just wasnt as good as i had read/expected.

This movie was hilarious, it was cracking me up so much! :lmao: The music was great too! :lol: Hugh and Drew made such a cute couple and all the other characters were perfect as well! I especially loved Sophie's sister :lmao:
 
Drew Barrymore and Hugh Grant are a cute couple in Music and Lyrics. I really like their song, Way Back Into Love. I never know Hugh has a nice voice! :cool:
 
I loved the 80s hair band bit. Scott Porter and Hugh Grant. That song always gets stuck in my head.
 
I actually just finished watching this movie and what a great little romantic comedy. Drew and Hugh have such wonderful chemistry. I love the catchy pop songs too.

It's available on iTunes, but you can't buy the singles separately, you have to buy the whole thing. :)
 
My fellow fanforum friend also hated the movie too :( I thought she would like it but nope

I have the movie on dvd now :D and the cd :wiggle:
 
I absolutely loved this movie!!! I bought the DVD. I almost bought the soundtrack, but I didn't (yet). It took me right back to the 80's, I'm an 80's chick. The video is hilarious, I loved the love song he wrote for her too, and all the other songs, someone really knew how to make it sound like that era. I loved Hugh's low-key humor, his delivery is so good! And Drew is just so cute. They seemed to have chemistry. They cast it so well, all the characters worked wonderfully. Cora was funny, I loved her Indian/80's/rap thing, it was funny. I just loved it.
 
No, you're deffo not.

I only watched this movie for Drew really but I was extremely disappointed. It took me ages to watch the whole film, I just got bored and distracted.

Not a movie I'd recommend but Drew
 
I just saw this movie. Loved it! And I loved the two of them. So adoreble. I liked that they didn't have that in your face chemistry. It was a subtle one. I prefer that.
