As much as I love the show I'm always puzzled by the randomness and absurdity of the songs they use for many scenes.

e.g. last series when the caravan blew up why was a song used while it was happening? it just didnt make any sense

Yeah me too, it's good to do it now and again in a tv show to add some tension or some poignant moment but they us it far too often on this show and The XX is used every week I've noticed.

I love the music. Have to third about The XX though, noticed Crystalized being used twice on Wednesday! Not a bad thing of course

No great band indeed and I've actually heard Crystalized used on quite a few other programs too.

They seem obsessed with Delphic this series. Must have used a good 2 or 3 songs of theirs in every episode so far!
