Music cues used in more than one show?

As many of us are aware, Haim Saban and Shuki Levy composed music scores for most of DiC's shows during the 80's. I just notices that in the Real Ghostbusters episode "Transylvanian Homesick Blues", around 18:49 mark, a music cue can be heard that was usually used on Dennis the Menace. Has anything like this ever happened with any other shows?
 
There was one episode of Captain Planet(A Perfect World) that used music from Captain N two years after the latter was canceled. The Real Ghostbusters used alot of music cues from Captain Planet in it's final seasons as well.

Ironically, Captain N used music from Captain Planet, along with the Super Mario Bros Super Show(and vice versa).

Plus Transformers G1 & GI Joe used the same music cues. Probably some other Sunbow animated shows too I guess.

And of course, there's Hanna-Barbera. It's a common practice to save money.
 
One of the cues from Evangelion can be heard in another of Gainax's shows, Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi, during the mecha battle in episode 3.
 
A lot of DIC (Do It Cheap) shows used the same music cues. A lot of their 80's shows were guilty of sharing cues, like Inspector Gadget, Heathcliff, Dennis the Menace, and later Super Dave.
 
The first thing that comes to mind is that Ren and Stimpy, Spongebob, and Lazlo have used the same exact dramatic/specific music, from what I've heard.
 
DePatie-Freleng reused alot of Doug Goodwin's cues in all their cartoons, including "Pink Panther" and "The Ant and the Aardvark", as well as their made-for-TV stuff.

Alot of older cartoons had the same music cues showing up in one or more cartoons, too, in a cost-cutting measure.

To give an example of two cartoons from different studios having the same cues, Winston Sharples' music were used in Paramount cartoons and the Felix the Cat cartoons produced by Joe Oriolo.
 
Actually, G.I. Joe, Transformers: Generation One, Dungeons & Dragons, AND Spider-man and his Amazing Friends all frequently shared the same cues as all four shows were composed by the same guy, the late Johnny Douglas.
 
As Don East mentioned, Hanna-Barbera did that A LOT; so much so that it was practically a regular thing (it didn't happen EVERY show they made, though).

The Fairly OddParents does that sometimes.
 
the 1967-70 Spider-man used some music from the Marvel Super-heroes.

Puppet-animated series like Thunderbirds, Captain Scarlet and Joe 90 borrowed some music who was used in Stingray and a smaller bunch from Fireball XL5
 
This is off topic, but what does IIRC stand for? Also, while I'm on the off topic topic of such abbreviations, IMO=In My Opinion, right?
 
IIRC = If I Recall/Remember Correctely. You are correct with IMO.

Anyways, I remember there was a particular track that was used in both Street Sharks & The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog. One of those tracks that would play during a tense moment when the villain had the upper-hand.
 
I definitely remember the GI Joe/Transformers ones and the He-Man/She-Ra ones. But I remember that just once I heard one on Teen Titans that I had heard in the Justice League cartoon. It was one of the little things in the Teen Titans cartoon that made me think that it existed in the same continuity as Justice League, but that's a discussion for another thread.
 
I believe some Supermarionation music even made it in to Gerry Anderson's live-action shows - an episode of UFO I saw recently used music from Thunderbirds in one scene.
