Agreed. Great idea for a thread but the nominations just don't work.

My Idea:

-If you want to potentially be a meraber of the court, submit your name.
-Once everyone has their name submitted, a list of names is compiled.
-Everyone votes yes or no on everyone from the list, this goes on for a week.
-If after the week you have 50% or more yes votes you're in.

For those complaining about the nomination process, leave the thread then don't keep voting to oppose people.

The nomination process is a formality to introduce the concept and collect candidates to fill out the ballot.

I want at least 15 candidates, some people may not even want to do it, once I get 15 I'll explain the next phase.
