Music Banter Hall Of Fame: Nominations Thread

Always loved 'em, since way back when they were this "new band" from the UK... first I was roped in by my teenage taste for catchy pop songs with ironic observations of british lifestyle.... then I got drawn into the more artistic stuff of later albums.... they kinda joined me on my journey from College to the real world, so I guess I feel a pretty strong affinity with their music and their progression as a band...

So uh, yeah consequently I voted yes...

I remeraber listening to them alot when I was five or six... I loved The Beach Boys. I really need to dig around my room for "Pet SounRAB", Well anyways I do think they belong in the rab hall of fame.

Lol...has it really been that long! then they havent really achieved much at all then have they, where does all the time go...
Thanks for the correction Trace....later Bro.

I agree with everything posted above and I'd also submit he deserves credit for his prolific nature and versatility working with or forming such acts as CSNY, America and Buffalo Springfield all while continuing a still successful solo career.

I only have Harvest and, to be honest, I haven't really given it much of a chance. I'll abstain 'til I've a) done that and b) heard another album or two. Safe to assume he's getting to the next round anyway though.

I haven't heard The Great Escape yet but I highly doubt it could possibly be worse than Morning Glory (I can't really think of anything that is) and I usually disagree with you about everything.

I need to check that album out. :thurab:

And thanks for explaining it for me.
