Music Banter Hall Of Fame: Nominations Thread

I voted no. A few people have already said my reasons-

I believe the complete opposite of this. Except the part where he said "most of the music they have spawned isn't necessarily good"

agreed

and agreed.

Booboo I agree with your concern on the principal but I'm not so sure if it'll do anything for your cause.

Yes votes with under 100 posts
candyquasar
clamz
eggyhendrix
Uberfilrabuff(has 99)

10 total minus these 4 equals 6

No votes with under 100 posts
Brad Stengel
insinkerator
The Monkey(has 89)

15 total minus these three equals 12

So the "real" tally is 6 to 12 giving Yes 33% and No 66%.

Poll closed, I missed it.... but I'd have voted no... they just don't do anything for me, sure they had attitude to spare, some great riRAB, but unfortunately mostly vacant and pretty terrible lyrics, and by the end of the second Use Your Own Illusion album, it felt like they'd run dry on material completely.

There were much better banRAB emerging at the height of their popularity anyways. They were a short lived and quickly superceded sensation...

It's right there folks...in the OP. Yes, try to avoid one word answers. No, it doesn't have to be a 500 word essay. A sentence or two will suffice, as long as it isn't "So-and-so sucks, so I vote no." At least tell us why they suck, in your opinion.

Oh...and thanks for clearing things up mrguy.

I actually own a few Chuck Berry albums, I went through a huge phase a few years ago and still play him regularly. I consider myself a fan. I mean more than justified to vote him in. Although I must say I'm amazed by the showing of negative support here in the last few hours. At the beginning it looked like a walk-on.

Please tell me whar the fuck you're tslkimg about. Portrayed how?

Edit: he siad winning, not whining, figure it out

Btw, Iron Maiden has obviously made the first cut so let's shut the fuck up about it until the actual vote.

^That's what I'm talking about. The Mars Volta are well-liked here and are a staple of the "collective rabroad music library" if you will, and that's why I think they should be in the hall of fame.
