Music Banter Hall Of Fame: Nominations Thread

Thats why I said type and not clone. Of course he dosen't sound like Neil Young. What I meant by "Neil Young type" is that he's just another singer songwriter that mixes folk with pop, which is one of the biggest (and worst) musical cliches today. He wasn't doing anything remotely new.

What have they accomplished would be the question in order for them to be nominated for anything, its not that I dont admire them as a band and know that they have contributed an influence to the modern music of today.
What have they done outstanding? I hold even more to my opinion after Trace reminded me that they have been out for 27 years, I would have to see some statistics and facts about why they should recieve such an honor before I could vote them in.

I'll abstain from this one.

It's all very well them being influential blah blah blah, but that's no good if I only ever feel the urge to listen to them about once every 5 years.

The best album Kevin ShielRAB was involved in was XTRMNTR, I think Loveless is rubbish.

I was never popular anyway,

Aye makes more sense to me, I mean I've never fully understood wether we were listing simply the greatest banRAB of all time or our favourite banRAB...

Still wasn't aware that joy division were very popular with this board mind you. o.0

Bah, definitely!
Although I do prefer Mozart (this guy's a robot), Beethoven definitely is a hall of famer, and I'm glad Classical music is taken into consideration for once.
