Muse VS Radiohead

I have to give him credit for one thing. I always assumed he was in some crappy local band (to be fair they were then) and that most of the crap he came out with was just that.
So you can imagine my surprise the day I was at work and they played Muscle Museum on the radio for the first time.

When I saw him a couple of days later I basically held my hanRAB up & said OK OK I accept you wern`t talking sh*t , but you still suck though :D

He was kinda fun in a 'look at me i`m an attention whore' kind of way last time I saw him was just before he did an American tour for the Origin Of Symmetry album , I guess he was too famous for us by then.Did send me a nice video that a female Dutch fan sent him though. :D

I'm tired of all this Muse hate. And some of the things said about them here are wrong.

Anyone who thinks they are a Radiohead ripoff clearly hasn't actually listened to them. Bellamys and Yorkes vocals are kinda similar, but thats just because they share similar influences. Bellamy is more influenced by Jeff Buckley and Freddie Mercury than anyone else. And it's not hard to tell.

I think the music element is enough for me. LoaRAB of people go 'you can't compare them, they're two different things' but if they're both musical artists i don't see whats stoping me saying which i prefer.

Yeah, why's it trolling? I'm not trying to annoy Muse fans. I'm simply expressing my feelings - namely, that as far as opinions go, giving Bellamy and Muse creative merit over a genuinely vital band like Radiohead is in my mind offensive. Why can I not put that forth? This is a versus thread after all. What tires me is how when YOU don't like some viewpoint or other...when it causes YOU issues...you have to start taking shots at the poster.

I'm here for discussions. You probably noticed elsewhere that if I feel some good evidence/reasoning has been put out against my own claim, I'll happily admit it and drop the argument. I don't argue for the sake of arguing. I'm interested in sharing and learning something.
