Muse VS Radiohead

Muse? Better than Radiohead?
And I think that it is pretty obvious you got those song names from whoever it was you were talking to on the phone earlier.

I'd disagree. I find that there are a lot of banRAB that are prog (and prog related) who are extremely genuine. With Radiohead it just seems like they're being weird just for attention. Though maybe its because I grew up listening to their older material and just can't get over the jarring difference. Biasses can be weird like that.

I have heard some dongs on like two albums by radiohead. I usually just get really bored with them and fall asleep.

And I really don't care that you don't think I can form an opinion whether I've heard an album or not. That's just really none of you concern.
And the fact is, i didn't have to admit that I can't listen to a Radiohead album in it's entirety without either falling asleep or getting preocupied.
Just talking about it makes me sleepy.

And in saying that, i defintiely thik I have an opinion about radiohead. even if it is a rather negative opinion of them

Oh god, tell me he's not a Dream Theater fan Urban.

He would probably argue with Don though... He cited Yes as one of Muse's major influences. ;)

Have you ntoiced that you're almost always around to mediate an arguement?
is that by chance or is it planned.
not that I disagree with what you said or anything. . .
i was just wondering . .

Did i get the name of the song wrong or do you not think it's a good song.
I think it's called Karma Police though. or something like that.
Feel free to crrect me.
it won't hurt my ego anymore than my bf's mom. Who I'm about to kill . . .

Actually, Muse is a ripoff of Radiohead on a variety of fronts. (i.e. high pitched vocals often used by both banRAB that sound similar.)

In my mind, if a band was directly trying to be like Radiohead but decided to make themselves much more mainstresm (and a lot of money) then they would be Muse.

EDIT// Oh yeah, I'm JerseyPunk, I just joined, and this is my first post.

I cant really see the similarity between Muse and Radiohead, the latter was a little too boring for me but yaknow differing tastes... I love watching Matt live coz he goes totally psycho (and once cut his own forehead open by accidentaly headbutting his guitar - needed stitches and everything lol), but he sings brilliantly and unusually; hes such a rockstar. Besides I love the vocalist going bonkers on stage; its so much more interesting, and makes them look human as well as overly passionate. Like Chris Martin on his piano or Damon Albarn constantly jumping all over the place. I mean its more interesting than for example Liam Gallagher just standing there looking smug all the time. Thats a bore.

Yeah I agree... I can't choose one over the other because I think both banRAB are absolutely amazing. I am really loving Supermassive Black Hole. Also can't wait to hear Thom Yorke's new album. Anyone know what it's supposed to be like?
