Murano 06 navigation and bose stereo problem.?

i just purchased an 06 murano sl with navigation options and the 6cd bose stereo. the car was hit from a side when i bought it (its fixed now.) the thing is the stereo and the navigation hasnt turned on since i bought the car. i know the navigation system was missing the dvd rom player (bought a new one and replaced it) but still nothing happens. does anyone know what might be wrong? is it a matter of reprograming. why is it that the stereo doesnt want to turn on either? any help will be greatly appreciated. thanks.
 
It may have a code that has to be put in it! I would go to a Nissan dealership and ask them about it. Check all of the fuses and read through the owners manual if you have one, if not I would get one for future references. Good Luck!
