Muppet Christmas Carol

Seeing the thread about the Muppet Wizard of Oz has made me decide to start a thread about the Muppet Christmas Carol, my absolute favourite Christmas film! I've watched it every year since it came out in (I think) 1993! :o :D Anyone else want to admit to loving it?!

Its the best xmas film bar none.

I love it.
The songs are great, the characters are great and the Muppets are brilliant.

I thought that this along with the Muppet Treasure island released not long after are the Two Best Muppet Films.

I love the Muppet Christmas Carol, I even upgraded to a DVD last year from my old childhood video :D. I remember when I first saw it as a child in the cinema and I got upset when I saw the little rabbit shiverring in the rubbish when Bob Cratchitt's song had finished (aww).

I liked that song that Scrooge's girlfriend sings when he sees his past (never been able to download it tho).

Miss Piggy just makes me laugh tho, but I do love Beaker (one of my fave muppets!)

Ironically, they cut that song from the DVD though, didn't they? I upgraded to DVD last year too. I personally don't think the film makes much sense without the song.

My favourite bits are the Ghost of Christmas Present song, and the silly little bits like the 'help we're being stolen' vegetables at the beginning! :D

Which song do you mean?

Years ago I got hold of the soundtrack (can't remember where from), and there are a couple of songs that never made it to the final film. There's one of Bunsen and Beaker that they presumably sing to Scrooge when they first visit him asking for a donation, and there is a really rubbish Sam the American Eagle song that he sings in the school.
