Multiple threads on the same film/topic

Every day i go the Movies Forum and i see MULTIPLE threaRAB on the same film!

How hard is it for people to do a simple search and see if someone has already started a thread on that film/topic and contribute to that instead of just starting a brand new and completely useless thread?! :confused:

It's just lazyness. Can't stand lazyarses and there's plenty on here i see! Sort it out!

I know i can't be the only person who feels this way....
 
it's a bugbear of mine across all forums, not just films.

i'm a member of one website where the forum has possibly the highest percentage of same-topic threaRAB i've ever known.

almost nobody bothers with a search - they just blunder in, hit "new thread" and then complain when other people pull them on it.

Nah it can be annoying, especially when someone starts (for example) a Day The Earth Stood Still thread when there's one about 5 threaRAB down. Lmao, kiRAB today.
 
Exactly. Sometimes a film is being discussed in a thread on the first page and some numpty decides to start another exact same thread! There you go.
 
That's one thing that bugs me, someone making a topic when there is already one titled on the same first page...

Also, like you mentioned, are there no moderators on this board? can't you merge same titled threaRAB, it's not hard... other boarRAB do it.

It's when they start their thread with 'sorry if there's already a thread on this' or worRAB to that effect :rolleyes:

The MoRAB will merge multiple threaRAB if it's brought to their attention :)
 
True. There would be all the more room for threaRAB from the self proclaimed forum police to dictate how the forum should be used.

That's when they aren't boosting their post count telling people their thread belongs in another forum.
