Amy is one. She's grows a lot more hair than I can groom especially since even though there are about 6 people in my house I'm the only one that grooms and bathes the dogs. She is one big knot and I don't want to cut her hair because I might hit skin in the process. NOT SAFE
When I try to groom her she starts to fidget and its hard to get her to stay still.
Question one: is there any way I can groom her knots out quickly and pain free?
Poopies isn't afraid at all of being groomed but he has health problems. He's Handy capped. So I feel like his ugly coat is cause by this because he isn't active and things like that. I tried today to groom is coat and I think all I got was the top layer.
Question 2: Can he get dandruff or is all the stuff in his hair dirt from rolling around in it?
Annie is just afraid to bathe. its not cool because even though she's a small dog. Her fear turns a 15 min bath into and hour long one.
question 3: is there any way I can get her more comfortable with the water?
With my busy schedual I'm unable to bathe them frequently and less groom them. Bash on me if you'd like but thats my living style. They're well taken care of besides their appearance. I refuse to take them to a proffesional because its pointless to pay so much as $ 60 just for a quick bath and cutting their hair.
So any suggestions to this problem. I think my main problem is not having people willing to help. But I can't really fix that. Please help I feel bad for how they are even though they're happy dogs. I think they would be happier cleaner and prettier =D
I'm sorry about the Comment on the proffesional groomers. I watched as a local groomer worked on my dog. I wasn't even there an Hour and they were already done. It was a shame to waste that much money for the service I got. Thank you for enlightening me with better knowled. I should take them to a better place. Maybe I'll do Petsmart Next time. Again thank you =D
