I love that really fat character. Squishy! :look:

Anywaaaaayys, I really like the way this film was made. Mushu is the best and the opening credits are really beautiful.

This is my pick-me-up movie. I really love the story and the characters were all so great. I usually dread Disney sequels, but I hope to see Mulan 2 soon as well.

Mushu is love. :lol:

I really love Mulan. I remember when it came out, I went to the theatre and watched it several times. I was in the Philippines visiting some relatives and the movie theatres are different in the Philippines. You pay for admittance into the theatre and then you can stay for as many showings as you want for that day. One day, when I went out with my sisters, neither of them wanted to watch Mulan with me again, so I said I'd meet back up with then at a certain time. When I watched the movie, I noticed I had enough time to stay and watch another showing. When I got back to my sisters, I very enthusiastically said, "I saw Mulan twice," while holding up two fingers to further emphasize how happy I was. One of my sisters was pissed because I stayed away so long and my bag was the one with the pads and her period had started. So, not only will Mulan stay in my memory for being a great movie but also for this little event.
 
Many of my friends told me that Mulan was a really good Disney movie,so I watched it and agreed with them. It really is a great story.

My favorite is the 'be a man' song. the first time i heard it when i saw the movie in the theater i thought it was so neat. it is such an amazing song.

i agree about eddie murphy as Mushu. He did such a great job:

"Allright, total dishonar! dishonar on your whole family" to the lucky cricket: "make a note of this....Dishonar on you, dishonar on your cow...."

What's everyone's favourite song in the movie? I can#t pick one at the moment because it's hard. I really like 'a girl worth fighting for' and 'you'll bring honour to us all' (not sure if those are the titles)

YAY. I love Mulan. It's up there with my favourites - Lion King, Aladdin and Beauty and the beast. You might like to know there's going to be a LIVE action Mulan movie with Michelle Yeoh which I think is going to be incredible if the script is good enough.
 
Heehee, sorry about the silly title. But it's such a funny quote. Ok so yeah, this thread is about one of my favorite Disney animated film. I hadn't seen it for a long time, then I was babysitting my neigbor and it came on their TV. I was having just as much fun as the little girl, it's such a great film, and the last animation movie that Disney's made that really live's up to their high standards (like The Lion King, Aladdin, ect...). Not that all that have come out after have been bad, they just haven't done as well, if you know what I mean. Enjoy the thread!
