Ok, so I'm freaking out basically. I was at my hockey game, and i could not swallow right when i was drinking my water. after the game though, when i talked, it sounded like I was underwater or muffled. I can here everything fine, Just when i talk, I sound like really muffled. I went to the doctor and they said that I could be starting a cold, and I sucked w>e mucus into my ear. They gave me nose spray. Thing is, I'm not sick. i don't have the urge to pop my hears, and when i swollow my ears dont open. But when i yawn they do. Now Im getting pressure behind my ears, and they feel like there filled with like water or something. Its driving me crazy, like pacing balling, weather it will go away or not. I'v tryed ibiprophin, sutafed, the tea pot tilt trick, heat pad. everything. I Don't have a cold or cough and my ears are plugged, but i don't have the urge to pop my ears, and i know how that goes, I was a swimmer for 12 years. Iv had swimmers ear before, ear infections, but i never ever have been muffled when i talk. I just have a blocking feeling behind my ears and In my ears. Please can anyone help me?!? when I drank my water did water go into my ears when i was playing hockey? will it go away? whats wronggggg :((((((
