im planning on buying 3 of either of these and making a box but i dont know which i want any ideas? im going to make the box anywhere from 5 to 6 cubic feet. the rms is higher on the terminators but rockford fosgate has better quality, probably the best quality in subs out there

Can you provide a little more information?

What size?

What model Terminators?

How many ohms?

How much amplifier power?

Being a fan of both brands (more toward RF), I'd have to say you're stretching it a little when you say RF has the best quality subs out there. I currently have two 10" 4ohm DVC P3's run by a Powerbass ASA 800.2 in a ported box tuned for 40Hz. While they do sound pretty good, they're by no means "the best".

If you ever hear a pair of Image Dynamics you'll be blown away. They're pricey, but worth every penny.

But, of those two choices, I'd have to agree RF would be my first choice. MTX makes good products, but in all my years of having systems (about 25 yrs) I've never been able to blow a RF sub. I've blown three MTX subs.
