MTV Legit on MTV2

Just saw a promo for this, basically every Friday night at 10/9c the channel will be showing classic animation, like Ren and Stimpy, Aeon Flux, The Maxx, Beavis and Butthead, etc. Just something to watch for.

MTV2 has had an animation block containing these shows before. But having the Maxx there is new to me. I haven't seen that in ages. As for Beavis & Butt-Head, I wouldn't be surprised if MTV2 still only has a small number of episodes to air.

Awesome, I have to remember to catch that. I wonder if Daria and Futurama will join the lineup eventually.

Son of a...they're doing it again. Don't get too comfortable with this line-up, guys, because it never lasts. They only do this to usher in a new line of animated series that won't go past 1 season. It comes and goes every three years. Rather than having one good animation, they serve up a glut of it until the viewers are sick of it and the network gets desperate again.

I've lost faith in MTV years ago. I seriously doubt this will help revitalize the station. :sad:

Yea, I doubt MTV will stick with it, they're constantly trying new shows out.

Unless MTV actually goes back to music, then it's not that big of a deal to me.
Of course, that's not happening any time soon.

Eh, the last block wasn't too bad. The new Celebrity Deathmatch was brilliant.

This one looks just as good provided that they keep at least the majority of the lineup the same for more than a month.

Celebrity Deathmatch hasn't had a new episode in more than 2 years, if I'm correct. Even MTV themselves haven't acknowledged canceling it yet.
