MTV in Europe has "Fur TV." If was show here, the world would end!!?

Why is that? Are we in the USA THAT "uncomfortable" with showing anything on TV that is NOT 'G' rated. Even cable is careful. I think Fur TV is very funny. Shocking, but definitely funny.
