I'm a pre-operative physically male transwoman, and I've been dressing strictly in female attire (with the exception of having to 'play the male part' at work and with certain members of my family) for some time now. While this has made me feel so much more comfortable with myself, I'm still quite conscious of the fact that I do not look very feminine. When there are no mirrors or people around, I feel great dressing in clothes that match my gender rather than my sex, and I'm relaxed and at peace most of the time. However, once I step into the public eye, I feel awkward and self-conscious. I realize that most transexuals must go through this, and I know that there's no miracle cure for masculine features and build except hormone therapy and surgery, but I would like to pass as much as possible in the meantime.
Are there any articles of clothing, makeup tips, or devices that cause a male-bodied person to look more feminine, aside from breastforms?
I should also note that I'm fairly lean, taller than most females my age but average to short for males, and I have fairly long hair, so hair tips would also be appreciated.
