MSN WONT LET ME SIGN IN/ WEBSITE ACTING WEIRD?

Windows Live Messenger wont let me sign it, it keeps popping up with a message saying that they couldnt sign me in. I went on the website and it says the website isnt working at the moment. Is this happening with anyone else and what should I do about it? :/
I know the password and email address that im typing in are correct
Is my account getting hacked? :/
