MSID sync with MIN1 ??????????? Help

How can I chang my MIN1 with out my MSID changing with it. This is killing me. I had it right at one time.

When I got the phone (New,Ebay,Unlocked) it just needed to be flashed. I flashed it with HTC_ SCPS 3.16 by learning from this site. Then I took it to a Cricket flasher because I couldn't get the MIN1 and MSID to stop sync. If I changed one then the other would change. Well he set this for me.

The next day 3.35 hit the sit and I flashed it. Now Im bac where I started. I don't want to pay anyone else and he don't even answer the phone.

This is what I noticed:


When gave the phone back it had the stock MSL code, working web, and I even had a working Weather on the today screne.

Now with out the nurabers right I can't get connected unless I change my MSL to 000000 but when I do that I don't always stay connected to the web and no weather.

I QPST and CDMA workshop 2.2 test please help. All settings are go but the MIN1 and MSID. Please help me unsync them.

Ever *228 will not fix I change the nurabers to 000000 and hit *228 send, they do what they have to do, the phone reset but even they can't break this damn sync.

I see files called EPST.EPST and EPST2.EPST but they are ROM. Tried Total Commander but I can't do nothing there as far as save.
 
Yes. This is where I try to edit but MIN1 and MSID change together no matter where I change the settings from (CDMA Workshop, QPST, EPST) it's like this is "THE LOCK" that everyone is unlocking. I did work that way when I got I off Ebay but after a flash it's back locked.

Used the Relocker and the Unlocker. Right boot loader. This has to be a quick fix I'm just stuck. Need help.
 
What will this do? I know how to get in and I can change the lock code to what ever with CDMA Workshop but will GetSPC un sync these settings?
 
GetSPC generates your SPC code based off your ESN hex nuraber...

It's useful for a lot of sprint pda phones.



I haven't had this problem as my MIN and MDN are the same but I have seen this problem with a u740

I was programming my girlfrienRAB u740 and her MIN/MDN are different and when I would set one the other one would duplicate. So I ended up letting it do that then changing the one that kept getting duplicated and it worked..

It looks like you have the same setup Im looking for: PPC6800 SMS and WAP. Is this how the phones act befor the first unlock or what is this. You say your MSID and MIN1 are the same? I also have cricket so what do I do, leave the code at 000000 and use?
 
umm unless i'm reading this wrong... i think msid min and imsi are all pretty much the same thing...

edit: there's probably a more technical explanation
 
So if your a Cricket customer do you leave the SPC 000000
Is "Unlocking The Phone" changing the SPC code to 000000

This will answer all my questions.
