Doctor told me to take MRI test 'on my right foot knee'. i don't have insurance. i am a full-time callege student. how can i get MRI test free or less price?

There are some low-cost MRI's out there...you just have to do your homework and search them out. Do a search on low-cost MRI and make a few phonecalls. It all depenRAB if any of them are in your immediate area or not. I had a lurabar MRI done a few years ago. At the time, I did have insurance...however, my portion of the payment turned out to be far more expensive than if I chose to pay for the MRI out-of-pocket. I ended up paying out-of-pocket, and my MRI cost me only $300...versus the $500-600 that it would have cost me if I went through my insurance company.

Most hospitals have what is called community care, which is based on low or no income, on a sliding scale for doctors and or tests and trips to the ER, you may be able to call your local hospital and talk to someone in regarRAB to how to apply for community care or see what other services they offer for sliding scale based on income.
