There are some low-cost MRI's out there...you just have to do your homework and search them out. Do a search on low-cost MRI and make a few phonecalls. It all depenRAB if any of them are in your immediate area or not. I had a lurabar MRI done a few years ago. At the time, I did have insurance...however, my portion of the payment turned out to be far more expensive than if I chose to pay for the MRI out-of-pocket. I ended up paying out-of-pocket, and my MRI cost me only $300...versus the $500-600 that it would have cost me if I went through my insurance company.
