Got my new MRI results. It just shows another herniated disc at T-7/8. Still does not explain the front abdominal pain I am having. Funny the Dr. said the Thoracic is the hardest part of the spine to injure without having an accident or something. Since I already have 3 herniated and 2 bulging in my neck and 2 bulging in my lurabar with the spinal fusion, discectomy, I figured the MRI would show something. Nothing surprises me anymore. At least it is not compressing a nerve. Thank goodness for small favors. One in my neck is compressing and then I have the back and leg pain still. So yet another test and no diagnosis for my abdominal pain. Oh well. Just wanted to share.

Hessie did your doctor have anything to say about the reason for the abdominal pain? Have you talked to your family physician about the pain? I know how discouraging it is to get results but nothing to explain your current pain. I was always told by my family physician when I started having all my spinal problems was "If you have problems with your Thoracic Spine do not let them do surgery on it because you are more than likely to get paralysis from the Thoracic Spine then any other location." I do have some problems starting with the Thoracic but nothing severe at this time.

I hope you will find out something soon that will help your pain. Have they ever done an abdominal MRI on you? Just want you to know that I am thinking of you and prayers are coming your way.

Hessie, I feel your frustration! Have they done upper and lower GI's? And what are they saying about the bulging and herniated discs? Are they giving you a lot of pain? The discs, I mean, not the doctors. ;) You've been dealing with this for so long. Is there a different doctor you can see?

Im sorry that you couldnt get an answer for your pain yet. It seems kind of typical here for people not to get any answers and that is a shame. Where is your abdominal pain located?
