Can someone please read my MRI results and tell me what it means?
Straightening the cervical lordosis present. Slight disc space narrowing noted at C6-C7. The cored intrinsically is normal in signal intensity. The patient does have a relatively shallow cervical spinal canal on a congenital basis. The craniocervical junction is anatomic in portion.
C2-C3: The central canal and neural foramina are patent.
C3-C4: Mild spondylosis. No discrete disc herniation. Uncovertebral spurring in minimally greater on the left and right. Mild narrowing of the foramen as a result.
C4-C5: Mild spondylosis noted. The right foramen appears slightly narrowed due to bone spurring. No discrete disc herniation.
C5-C6: Again, facet and uncovertebral spurring in more severe on the right than left. The foramen does appear slightly narrowed. The central canal and left foramen are patent.
C6-C7: Moderate broad base spondylosis and interposed disc bulging is present. At this level, lateral bone spurring is more severe on the left and the foramen does appear compromised.
C7-T1: The central canal and neural foramen are patent. Minimal right paracentral annular bulging.
Impression: Degenerative disc disease and spondylosis most severe at C6-C7, please see above additional comments and correlate findings with clinical exam.
