SOO I got yet another MRI, mentions 'scar' enhancing within the epidural space at my fusion level, but what in the world does this mean lol I am sure it is nothing but I haven't a clue- I know I have facet hypertrophy, and also facet arthrosis, but

"L5/S1 (under my fusion) There is a mild annular bulge and posterior ridge"

What in the world is a posterior ridge? Just part of your back??? I never had that on any of my MRIs so am curious what it is- Google doesn't help me on this one-

Thanks :)

Does this sound like what it is since I have the facet hypertropy and arthrosis n DDD all that jazz? and if so- um- then what lol

A hypertrophic rim of one of the two opposing posterior borders of the involved
vertebrae may extetsd to some degree over a ridge-like bulge its the disc;
