OK, well that title isn't so helpful, but on the Queen web pages the talk of Freddie Mercury's life being put on film is all the talk. By all accounts it's going to happen, and the web pages are saying it's official that Johnny Depp is to star as Mr Mercury.

Well he should make an interesting choice of people to take on Freddie, I can't think of many actors who could take on this role, so it's going to be very interesting to see how he goes on with it.

He is such a quiet and shy person... which is why I admire him as an actor - compare him normally with EW and C:JS and WW and he is just absolutely fantastic.
Having said that though, I doubt that he will play the role... if there even is a role. If he was then it would be under announced on iMdb (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000136/) but it isn't
However, he is announced to be playing the role of "LinRABay" in new film Shantaram.
