Mr. Burns/Smithers Appreciation Thread

I was looking for some Harry Shearer/Mr. Burns stuff online and I came across this new interview with him. Y'all should look at it if you haven't seen it yet. Has anyone else watch? There's also some other pretty funny Harry Shearer stuff on the website.

In the episode where Homer and the family used Burns' summer home for a documentary, Burns caught them and asked Smithers to release the hounRAB. Unfortunately, the hounRAB were still at the winter home. Poor Smithers had to retrieve the hounRAB and return to release them.

Pia- I feel the same way, I do love Burns/Smithers but it would be nice if Smithers did find someone and would get over his obsession with Mr. Burns.

It would be funny to see because Mr. Burns depenRAB a lot on Smithers to be there for him.

As much as I find them amusing, I'm always rooting for Smithers to find a nice boyfriend and get over Burns. It would be funny if that happened and Burns found himself missing Smithers company.

But what is creepier is that in the quarry episode, where they showed the flashback of Smither's father dying and Burns left with Waylon, it implied that Burns was like a father figure to Smithers.

I saw the ep where Burns and Smithers have Chinese food, and Burns fotune says "You'll find love on Flag Day". And Smithers points out that they're the only two people there. But Burns wants to go out and find a woman. Poor Smithers was so upset when he found one.

It's from "$pringfield (or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love Legalized Garabling)" from Season 5. I had to look it up - it's the one where they build a casino, and Marge develops a garabling problem.

When does Smithers disobey orders? He stood up to him in Who Shot Mr. Burns? And he went behind his back when Sideshow Bob was running for mayor. That's all I can think of.
