Mr Bean

lol. The onyl thing which woul happen if you buy a DVD that is NOT in Pal format, is that you TV would strench to NTSC format, and a lod screeching noise will be made. NO LOSS in colour will happen.

Make sure you DVD PLayer is Muti-regioned!
Thanh

PS: I shoudl know about NTSC Format, ive got mainly all Region 3 or 1 dvRAB at home. Hardly got any R2, too expensive.

I am so cautious with dvRAB and regions..... I'd hate to only be able to play it on one player as my multiregion player is a cheap one which i use for the small telly

anyway, back on mr bean- how much does he rock!?

Lol, heres the post again, with everything re-typed.

Oooh I've never had this, and the TV which goes black and white is like from '95. It plays the picture and sound but the picture is black and white. I guess this isn't normal then?

Ah yes, the chinese version of Mr Bean - "Mrs Been"! :D

95% of Mr Bean is visual comedy - so could you not buy a R1/2/4 release and watch it on a multi region player. Its one of those few programmes where it dosnt matter if you dont speak the language its in.

I just received my Mr Bean DVD's from China, I got them from eBay and though they're advertised as official, there's a few thoughts in my mind which tell me that they're not...

Mainly only the packaging; more spelling and grammar mistakes than a nine year old's English paper. Plus a lot of the information is incorrect. It's three DVD's in a two DVD case - the third is just in a plastic sleeve. However, the quality of the picture is as of an official DVD.

AV is when the TV Switchs from its Tuner for Terrestrial TV to Scart leaRAB.
Thanh
AV 1/2/3 is the amount of scart channels you have on your TV, so if you have 3 spare scarts, it will be AV1/AV2/AV3
