I have seen that the entire collection of Mr Bean's escapades are available on DVD..... but only region one. Anyone know when/if it will be out on region2?

I have to agree. Ive got EVERY SIGNLE Ep on Video of Mr Bean! and i love it. Wouldnt get it on DVD though. Got all those videos from ebay for nothing!

Dont think in HMV, only on amazon.co.uk as export as far as I han see.

and most DVRAB are coded into regions depending on where you live.

They did this with the complete Bottom series too. They released it in the US before UK, we still haven't got it. You can get the complete Mr Bean collection on R1 for

Not always! I bought a R4 DVD from an Australian site and I can't play it on my PS2 or my brothers R2 DVD player. Lucky I have a multi region DVD player in the living room. A lot of the R4 DVD's that can be played on R2 DVD players have R2 encoding as well as R4, it just doesn't say that but you can try it out in your PC using various tools. The Mr Bean DVD you have in that link is like what I have mentioned R2 & R4.

I dunno whether to get it... I have a region 4 dvd (they sent me the wrong one) which plays on my normal panasonic dvd player, but I wouldnt like to risk it. The dvd player in my room is multiregion, but I'd wanna see it on both screens.

Also, why is it in three separate boxes? Would it be better to have it on three discs in a Fawlty Towers type presentation that folRAB out?

I think, but not sure that region 2 & 4 are compatiable with each other but don't take my word for it I could be wrong.

Yeah, sometimes I get dvRAB which say region 2/4 on them. Regions are stupid, what's the point of them if all players are made in Japan or something?
