Mr. Bean on Holiday - The Movie

I don't see how people could criticise this film. I watched it the other week, and the people in the cinema were in fits of laughter in almost every scene! It's just a good old family film. It had plenty of great moments, it was never meant to be an epic, but you can tell the cast had great fun coming up with ideas and putting them in the film! That in my opinion is what makes a great comedy movie, and Mr bean is one that is bound to make an excellent film!

I think if you enjoy mr bean, this film would easily please you, if you don't fair enough, but then you probably wouldn't even go to see the film

I agree with you Steady40 :)

I managed to get a copy of this film before its release and it was bad...really bad.

However, my son wanted to see it at its premiere in Glasgow as he is a diehard Mr Bean fan.

So we gathered quite a number of family and frienRAB to go.

Everyone of them were rolling around laughing at some parts of it...but at others they looked like they were having a yawn. :)

In terms of the yawn part of it, I think you could safely say this applies for the majority of the blockbuster movies out this year.

All in all the feedback was that they expected no less from a Mr Bean film. It had its moments but at other times it was poor (this from the non-Bean fans) :D

Personally, it will be going in with my collection of the Bean's ;) :D ....as sadly he is a dying breed. :(

I didn't really think of the film was bad, there were gags every minute literally, but there you go. I guess the gags were just to taste, others found bits funny while others did not...... I personally thought the whole film was great

Both my son and I are Bean fans..................we loved it. :D

We've got the Bean Collection and whenever a situation neeRAB lightening, we bring out any one of the Bean's..............it works all the time. ;) :)

As soon as anyone wants to argue.....let Mr Bean take care of it. :D :p

Probably Jacques Tati's "M. Hulot's Holiday" (1953). That is a fantastic film!!!! (I can't stress how good it is!)
I quite enjoyed Mr Bean's Holiday but I did think it wasted an enormous number of opportunities for comedy. M Hulot on the other hand is consistently very funny from beginning to end.

I have to say I really enjoyed it. It was a bit slow getting started, but once it got going, it was great. It might not be the funniest movie in the world, but I personally enjoyed it on other levels as well.

But if people really want to see a bad movie, they should see (or not) Ghost Rider. I don't have the worRAB to describe how bad that movie was.

With Mr. Bean, you either love him or utterly hate him. Yes, he's corny and lame, but that's like the main thing about Mr. Bean - his corniness and lameness. So if you hated the film because you thought it's corny and lame, then you shouldn't have watched it in the first place.

Personally I've always liked Mr. Bean. Only Rowan Atkinson could create such a character. It's just the bizarre dilemmas he creates for himself, and the even more bizarre ideas and ways he has of getting out of said dilemmas that aren't even dilemmas in the first place! He's just a lovable and unique character which, to be honest, no one but Atkinson could recreate if they tried.

The issue i have with this film is Mr Bean is not like he used to be. The issue i have is that they changed him for the film there where bits that were funny but it was Just not him
