mp3s ...please help

i have a s710a. when i put a mp3 onto the memory stick, it always creates a second file that shows up on my phone with "._" in front of the song name, and when i click play it says "cannot play this sound".... so there are 2 files for every song: "songname" and "._songname"
when i put the memory stick in my computer, i cant even find those files to delete them, they only show up on my phone and can't be deleted from there.

my question is: how can i get rid of these??

i would be able to deal with them being there, except for the fact that when i put it to play on random, when it gets to one of these files the playback just stops and doesnt go to another song.
 
when you plug the memory stick into your computer, make sure you are able to view all hidden files. TOOLS>>FOLDER OPTIONS>>VIEW...then make sure the "Show hidden files and folders" is chosen. see if that works...if it does...the "._songname" file may show up
 
thanks, i did try that, but it didnt work. it shows me a few other hidden files, but not those....
how do i avoid getting those files on there in the first place?
