MP3s on the Wii

I want to be able to play music off an SD card, without having to load up a game

I want to be able to do this also . I am sure in time Nintendo will make a MP3 player for the Wii.

Only way to do this so far is with the photo channel

Load up some pics, and have a slideshow

I have mp3s on an SD card in the Wii, but it doesn't see them in the photo chanel

yea, you gotta set up a slideshow and then set the music and set it to play off your SD. sucks, but im hoping nintendo will come out with a proper MP3 player in a future update.

well that functionality alone shows they can do it, I'm sure plenty of neat channels will be added in the future.
