mp3 playing

Hi guys. New member here. I searched briefly for info on mp3 playback using a palm but I figured this should be a simple enough question to ask.

I currently use my laptop to play mp3 and wma files over a full blown/amplified stereo system. I have a headphone jack splitter that takes the output from the headphone jack and sends it to the right and left inputs on the stereo amplifier.

My question is can I do this with a palm and how is the quality of playback?

Thanks!

I find the quality perfectly fine, and it's constantly improving with software updates. The T1/T2 has low volume output, but the T3 has loud volume out, though this is not a problem as you can boost it on the stereo.
You can certainly take the 3.5mm headphone jack output of the Palm and plug it into your stereo aux input.
Pocket Tunes deluxe www.pocket-tunes.com will play mp3s and unprotected wmas. If you're not bothered about wma, you can use the free realplayer for Palm.
