Moving calendar items from 'my calendar' to google calendar

My wife has just got her HTC desire. Unfortunately she put in all her calendar events before siging up for a google account, so they're all in 'my calendar' and not google calendar. Is there an easy way to move all events from 'my calendar' to google? There seems to be no way to transfer them all within the phone, and I can't see a way to export them, so I can import them through gmail.

Any solutions?
 
I think you'd have to set them one at a time to be a Google entry.

Does it really matter that much if they're synched with Google? The entry on the phone will behave the same either way. Most people just have Google for a backup, and occasionally as a slightly easier way to create calendar entries.
 
Unfortunately I don't have a phone with Sense UI (yet), so I'm kinda guessing here.

Can you not export the Calendar entries using HTC Sync (it should have come on her SD card, or you can download it from htc.com)? Ideally as CSV, then imported into Google via a browser.

Maybe HTC Sync can also edit the entries?
 
You might be on to something there - I didn't know that existed! It looks like it may allow my to get the calendar off there in a way I can use, thanks.
