Moving a yuka plant from one garden to another?

I have a large yuka type plant in my garden with cream and green stripe l leaves.
I may be moving soon and would love to take it with me. I know that you can cut the normal yuka and replant but not sure about this one.

If it can be moved what is the best way please.

I would soak the yucca very well before digging it up, and would probably wait until cooler weather. However, not knowing where you live, cannot give you a specific time.

When you do get it dug up, you might try putting it in a half oak wine barrel, or something similar. When you do get to your new residence, if it takes you a few days to get around to planting it, at least it can be watered in something that will retain moisture. Also, if you move again you won't be faced with the digging up problem.
