Movies you wish someone would make.

Zombie Attack On New York, starring Kurt Russell, John Travolta, Christopher Lee, and a bunch of nobodies who get gobbled up.

The Strain:

Guillermo Del Toro recently released this, the first book of a vampire trilogy co-written with Chuck Hogan, and after the recent neutering Vampires have suffered at the hanRAB of Stephanie Meyer (and to an extent Joss Whedon), it takes the legend completely in the opposite direction, totally unromanticising the idea of Vampirism in the most brutal way possible.

I can't wait for book two, and I really hope GDT has a crack at filming it after he's done in Middle Earth.

Alien 3 (Direct follow up to Aliens, missing out all the other rubbish that followed)

Ripley, Hicks, aliens, marines, guns, more guns, Earth and even more aliens. Complete and utter carnage. Rated at least 18, though perhaps a new classification would be required. :D

The Thing 2

The Thing got loose and is rapidly infesting the whole planet. A Sombrero wearing Kurt Russell will be our only hope. This film will be championed by Mark Kermode, mainly because it will feature the most mind bending and disgusting special effects that have been seen on film. The Daily Mail may also give it away as a free DVD offer. Possibly banned by the BBFC soon after.

The Silmarillion

Nine hours of unremitting misery, despair, doom and surfing Elves. The extended DVD versions will be much longer, feature added hopelessness and maybe some incest.
