My mom gave my dad the Godfather series DVD packagea few years ago, and I don't think its ever been opened.

I love MR too! It might be a bit too frantic at first (or at least the first 20 minutes) but after that it settles down and grows into fantastic movie. The costumes, acting, everything is top notch. Just prepare to drop your jaw when Ewan starts to sing Your Song :sigh: I definitely recommend it :)

I've got Apollo 13, The Last Samurai, and a bunch other. Well, Apollo 13 is my brother's but the I didn't know what I was thinking buying TLS when I don't even like Tom Cruise.

Evolution is awesome

Check the Siggy!

And New Jack City, god that is like Wesley Snipes thugged out role, i love Blade, but Nino Brown is his best.

I can't really imagine buying a movie without watching it. My sister got The Santa Clause for free from where she works. I've seen the movie before, but I didn't watch it when she got it.

I totally agree, especially on Evolution - it's absolutely hilarious.

Great thread by the way, Nikki.

So - I actually have a few of these movies, but since I don't watch them I can't think of what the titles are! They're all on VHS, and most were given to me (although a couple I bought because they'd be cheaper than renting and thought they might be interesting on a rainy day).

I'll have to go check out the titles...

The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen--My friend got a whole bunch of free dvds and this is one of the ones that she gave to me. It's still in the plastic, I have no desire to watch it. Ever.

I had Hulk for a few months before I realized that I still hadn't watched it. I did get around to it not too long ago.

My dad has a bunch of Chinese movies that I don't think I'll ever watch. His taste in movies differ from mine greatly.

I did just buy "Hero" for myself, but I haven't watched it yet. I've been saving it for a nice quiet day. :)

I bought Blade Runner, Resovior Dogs, Deer Hunter from one of those dvd buying clubs. I never got to watch them. But hope to sometime. Since they are my own, I am in no hurry.

I used to have this massive stack of films I'd taped off the TV and not had time to see but luckily I got most cleared over Xmas and not much has been on this year so far, so I've only actually got one left - Cottage To Let. The funny thing is it's been on the tape since last July and has been on TV twice since and I still haven't seen it!!!

The wedding planner. Got it for christmas and even do I think Matthew McConaughey is nice, I'm not gonna see a movie with Jennifer Lopez in it.

From Hell and Insomnia are great. Well, Insomnia is good depending on how high are your expectations. Mine I'm afraid to say were too high for the movie. But after my little dissapointment I realized it was a good movie.

Recently I bought The Manchurian Candidate, Tigerland, ...And justice for all and ROTK: EE. Off the tv I taped The Indian Runner and Dark BlueI'm keeping them for when I have nothing else to watch.

Wag The Dog. I got it free with my DVD player but I don't know, I guess I don't have any interest in watching it. Oh, and also Almost Famous, someone told me it was the worst movie they've ever seen, plus I haven't any time to watch it. And it's been on TV as well.
