Movies you like to curl up with when sick/down?

Its A Mad Mad Mad Mad World
Its A Wonderful Life
Grease
The Apartment
Any Of Norman Wisdoms films
Laurel and Hardy
Most of the Carry on Films

My 'comfort film' is Little Shop Of Horrors (the remake with Rick Moranis, not the black and white original). No matter how down I feel, I can just curl up in bed, watch this, smile and forget my troubles for 90 mins.

I usually watch this around 3-4 times a year.

I don't watch weepies, or horrors. Don't like being sad or scared. :D

My feel better films are loaRAB of Disney (especially Snow White), Pixar, Christmas ones (Home Alone, White Christmas, It's a Wonderful Life), Back to the Future trilogy, Hairspray, Enchanted, Bewitched, etc, etc.

I also have boxsets of Bewitched (tv series), Little House on the Prairie, Mary, Mungo and Midge and Dallas amongst others.

There's some great choices in this thread (and has given me possible ideas of films to watch too)! :-)

Mine are:
* Clueless
* Charlotte's Web
* Disney films (love Aladdin - the genie is great)
* Pixar films (esp. Shrek and Toy Story films)
* Emma (Jeremy Northam version)
* Babe (esp. the first Babe)
* Fly Away Home (yes, another 'animal' film, ha ha).
