Jesus Christ Superstar the Movie.

It was made in the 1970's and is a bizarre film where a bus load of young people arrive in a desert to re-enact the story of Christ.
I love the music anyway but the singing is absolutely superb all the way through. Melvyn Bragg (South Bank Show) was one of the producers. It's far out man.

If you haven't seen this film you should. Don't get it confused with the newer DVD film of it. Infact I am not sure if it is available of DVD. It has been shown on TV once or twice.
